Our Story

Rev. Gautreaux started his ministry in 1988 with passion and fire that have yet to die out. In his 35 years of ministry, he has fulfilled the roles of assistant pastor, youth pastor, interim pastor and finally home missions pastor of My Church, formerly The Rock Church. He has ministered abroad in Greece, Norway and Denmark to name a few.

In 2000 he married the love of his life, Chrystal, and they started their family with Christ as the center. They have two beautiful girls together, Brooklynn and Londynn. Their family grew to add a wonderful bonus son, Jackson married to Brooklynn in 2022.

Originally from Eunice, LA and Lake Charles, LA, they felt a strong call to Prairieville, LA and eventually moved here in 2004. Together they have a beautiful heart for reaching the lost and hurting. Since May 7, 2006, at the very first service of what is now My Church they have established a "place to belong" for the people of Ascension Parish.
